AAC Gunks Climbing Day

AAC Philly Chapter Road Trip to The Gunks!

Are you new to climbing or have you been climbing mostly indoors and Interested in learning more about climbing outdoors? For this event we’ll start with review and lessons of gear, then cover knots, commands, safety checks, belaying, and climbing movement all while getting your ou climbing as many routes as we can. We will also take a short break from climbing and review rappelling skills needed for descent.

We'll meet you at 9am in Minnewaska State Park's Peter's Kill Climbing Area for the day.
Included in the day are the guide(s) based up to a 4:1 ratio, and any basic technical gear needed for the day.
Day passes for the park, lunch, drinks, technical clothing and gratuities are not included.
